- Niu: Mysterious main weapon that has a low lower bound and a high upper bound. Skilled players prefire main weapons and sweeps wave after wave, noob like me even miss the sparrows in act 1.

Survival
- Both REMP and Ult VL have bullet clearing capabilities. Using them alternately makes Jeria very survivable in a bullet hell.
- When facing a sea of bullets, you have to graze for bonus VL energy to improve survivability.
- Lasers and speed lasers might cause some trouble, so you have to use VL to eliminate dangerous invaders or turrets first.
- The stackable property of Jeria’s main weapon makes it extremely efficient at shield breaking. Pre-fired main shots work surprisingly well at breaking larger invaders’ shields.
Speedrun
- Main weapon optimization is crucial, you have to get used to its alternating fire sequence in order to improve your main weapon control to avoid missing.
- Stacked main shots are mostly used for breaking larger invaders’ shields. With shields stripped, invaders become very vulnerable to VLs. This will maximize the benefit of Jeria’s SB main weapon.
- VL sweep is key to clearing a wave quickly. If you happen to have 4 VLs at the start of a dense wave (if it’s not a Sparrow-only wave), you can quickly throw them all out from left to right to vaporize invaders.
- If the next wave has a frontline Vulture, you have to position yourself at the bottom of the screen and stack main shots. Then, throw out all 4 VLs from left to right immediately after the Vulture has fully arrived. Doing so allows you to insta-kill both the front-line Vulture and the Ravens hiding behind it.
- If the next wave has two rows of invaders, with Ravens and Herons on each row, you might want to pre-fire one main shot for each Heron to break their shields first, then use VLs to finish them off. This saves on the amount of VLs used.
- If the next wave has two Eagles side by side, the best way to deal with them is to throw 3 VLs dead in the middle immediately after their arrival.
- If the Eagles unfortunately separate from each other, you can remediate the situation by firing 2 VLs on each side, and then fly with the last VL to the middle of the screen to release a REMP. This technique is useful if the wave features four Eagles. Alternatively, you can simply scrap the run and try again.
- Sometimes 2 VLs are enough to eliminate two Eagles side by side. This is achieved by shield breaking through pre-fired main shots, since the damage they deal are roughly equivalent to a single VL.
Fun
- The left-to-right alternating nature of Jeria’s main weapon makes it difficult for most players to get used to its pace.
- You are likely to miss a couple of main shots for a single Sparrow.
- If you pre-fired properly, you can strip invaders’ shields instantly after their arrival, which makes turret popping very easy.
- Jeria becomes an utterly crazy offensive ship once you get the rhythm right.

- With 20k total flights, you can basically master any other ship in the game. However, for Jeria, 20k total flights is just the beginning.

This Apex makes VL considerably more forgiving to play with, as you are more likely to hit both side by side Eagles from the middle with a wider VL. In addition, survivability is improved because it clears bullets in a larger area. Despite not increasing damage output, this Apex lowers the difficulty for beginners to practice.

This Apex benefits Jeria more in Unprotected missions than Shielded missions, because the increased damage makes REMP one-shot Unprotected Ravens, which means that you no longer have to use the main weapon to finish them off. As a result, the ceiling for speed-running is significantly raised.
